Coastal rowing is an enjoyable way to get and stay fit while spending time on the water in fresh air. Learning to row and then improving as a rower requires a degree of self-awareness and motivation with the added benefits of a crew around you for support, feedback and encouragement.

In order for a crew to have a successful row together, there is some key information and there are some physical requirements of which every member should be aware. While the Cox is in control of the skiff at sea and everyone is expected to look out for each other, you are ultimately responsible for yourself and should ensure you are adequately prepared.
