Are you 50+ and enjoy being active?
Come along and try out coastal rowing with EACRC.
Coastal rowing is a great way to get out on the water and take part in an active team sport – keeping you mentally and physically fit and healthy!
The Eastern Amateur Coastal Rowing Club (‘the Eastern’) are holding a free rowing taster day on 12th March 2017 from 11.30am, aimed at people aged 50 and over wishing to try out coastal rowing.
The session will include 30 minutes on the water – being taught the basics of coastal rowing and giving you a chance to get into the rhythm of it.
If you would like to come along and give it a go, please email: email@example.com and we will give you an allotted time to come down beach to avoid too much hanging around. Alternatively you can just turn up to the beach and we will allocate you a slot on the day – but you may find yourself waiting round a bit.
The Eastern is currently open to new members joining until the end of March and has more space in some age/gender categories than others. In particular there is plenty of space for new members who are over the age of 50 or women who are under the age of 40!
Date: 12th March 2017
Time: 11.30 am onwards (email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like an allocated slot
Place: Portobello beach, bottom of Bellfield Street (outside the Swimming Centre)
